These mosaics were created for the Community of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Colleyville TX. Each panel has a dimenssion of 8'x8'. We used Murano colored glass and 24k gold tesserae and travertine stone. Fabricated in collaboration with Motivo Mosaic.
For our mosaic projects we use Venetian colored glass and 24k gold tesserae and stone. We take each project from the design stage, through fabrication, all the way to final on site installation.
In buon fresco the image is painted directly on the wall, on the wet skin of the plaster. As the plaster cures, the lime crystalizes around the pigment particles bonding the paint permanently to the plaster surface.
Iconography here refers to panel painting and manuscript illumination using the traditional technique of egg tempera on gessoed panels and parchment.
